BUG OUT ROOM
This is going to be a bug out room, its going to be a multi purpose place, first a practice foundation for securing the water well house, but then mostly a root cellar. Yet it could be used for future coming storms, or to hide from future flying foes.
So a place to bug out when you need to, or store a years worth of carrots, potatoes, garlic, onions, ginger, anything needing long term cool storage, so as to not have to pack the fridge, or during times of harvest when the need is greater, and stretching out items until they can be replenished. The soil removed from the room will be used to create a raised bed for carrots, lettice, anything being close in soil PH, small, and possibly going year round.
Digging has been tough, like going through concrete, now at this level, to the end, i'll need a device to lift out the dirt.
So here one is, and it makes the lifting feel like nothing with this block and tackle arrangement. But once again, another mysterious unexpected situation. There are a lot of reasons to find water at this depth, and yet again there are a lot of reasons not to expect water at this depth.
And rather than go through them all, i'm just going to eliminate contenders until the field is narrowed to just a couple, this could take a while, or not, and the direction is directly related to the narrowing. If I have to i'll work around the leak as cool and moist conditions are the preferred choice, but I do not expect this leak to stick around over the long term.
To date there are no well pump water service line leaks, nor have I dug into a water table line.
